Where sustainability takes manufacturing to new levels.

Holmes

Holmes County shares its border with Alabama and is known for its deep roots and genuine southern hospitality. Holmes County was the second county established after the Florida Territory achieved statehood in 1845. In addition to the county seat of Bonifay, Holmes County’s towns include Esto, Ponce de Leon, Westville, Poplar Springs, Noma, Prosperity, and other distinctive unincorporated communities.

County Offerings

The entire county qualifies for the New Market Tax Credit — a tax credit against federal income tax in exchange for making equity investments in an underserved community like Holmes County. The credit totals 39% of the original investment amount and is claimed over a period of seven years.

Its business‐friendly community welcomes discussion of additional incentives unique to the project, depending on capital investment and job creation impact.

Don’t forget; Florida's limited corporate taxes let your business dollars go farther, and your employees benefit from 0% state personal income tax.
